·The Pentagon has added Fudan University and Shanghai Jiao Tong University to a list of foreign institutions deemed a threat to US national security, extending Washington’s research-security crackdown to two of China’s most prestigious civilian universities.
·A comparison by the South China Morning Post with the list released for the 2024 financial year indicates that the newly named Chinese institutions also include Shandong University, Chongqing University of Technology, Hangzhou Dianzi University, Shenyang Aerospace University, the University of International Relations and the Joint Logistics Support Force Engineering University. Xidian University also appears to have been listed in its entirety.
·The new list also broadens the entry for the Chinese Academy of Sciences, adding its Aerospace Information Research Institute, National Time Service Centre, Institute of Microelectronics, and Technology and Engineering Centre for Space Utilisation.

反对五角大楼以莫须有的名义，对中美高校之间的正当学术交流活动横加干预与打压。
我交与各国高校或学术机构都保持合法、自由、平等以及互相尊重的交流活动，从来是以不损坏任何它方利益为基础的。
美国军方应该对国际间平等互利的学术交流持公平公正的立场，不该无中生有，横加干预，更不该无辜牵连我交。
